Stage Spiders is a student led volunteering group based at the University of Kent. For World Book Day 2014 they held a readathon in aid of Give a Book.
They read, and dressed up, and read some more all over the place, and could (almost) still speak at the end. Here are some photos they sent us from the day which track the whole 12 hours. Altogether, with sponsorship and the collection tins on the day they raised a massive £776.61 for Give a Book!

We’re so happy and so proud of all our volunteers and we couldn’t imagine a better way to spend it, than on a new Magic Breakfast Book Club! Thank you again for everything you do and we’re now hoping to get our Readathon nominated for Best Event in the Kent Union Awards. We hope so too!
